If anyone on /o/ is in NC and needs extended/dealer/factory codes checked, or needs a diagnostic tool that can actually tap into the ECU/PCM/TCM and command systems on and off, let me know.

This fucker can even read OBD1

>>
where did you get it so cheap?
>>
>>13965219
Right, so you bought something I can do with a serial port and a bit of time...
>>
>>13965612
One of the vendors for the service dept at my dealership was getting about a dozen of these for super cheap as sort of a black friday door buster, and he hooked me up with one
>>
>>13965273
>This fucker can even read OBD1
High amounts of doubt. Maybe for a brand or two, not all of them.
>>
>>13966720
shopfag here, can confirm that they can. they don't advertise it because they don't want to have to deal with offering support for it, but they can deal with most obd1 setups
>>

>what bounty might these contain....
Nigger you bought that shit and you don't know what it is?
>>
>>13965219
Damn, that's sweet.

No /o/ shit besides new snow tyres and a CV axle to get the 3500 Savanna going again.

May have spent 1800 building an AR.
Hurry the fuck up UPS
>>
No pictures to post, but I bought a Cobb APv3 and some E-Tune services.

Also, switchback turn signal LEDs, fog light LED bulb replacements, and some silvania silverstar ultras... Good black friday!
>>
>>13966790
>Also, switchback turn signal LEDs, fog light LED bulb replacements, and some silvania silverstar ultras
Wow, you just hit the trifecta for bullshit and illegal lighting for your vehicle.
>>
>>13966796
Please do tell what's illegal! I skipped the plug-and-play HID kit, which was what I read most about illegal lighting.
>>
>>13965219
Good show LPGee. Swanky stuff there.
>>
>>13966813
You can't install anything but the designed light source into a luminaire. Throw away the LEDs. You shouldn't even need to replace the fog lights because they should only ever be on in fog/heavy rain/heavy snow. The Silverstars are...legal, but they're trash.
>>
>>13966829
I think we may be subject to different lighting laws, but from everything I've read I should be safe.
>>
>>13966863
>I think we may be subject to different lighting laws
Regulatory, sure, but you can't escape physics. You WILL degrade lighting performance with those toys.

Hey LPG. I didn't purchase them on a black friday sale or anything, but I bought some new winter wheels friday and monday. ASA GT5 18x9 in the rear, 18x8 in the front. Enkeis were about 6 years old and the rears were kinda fucked.

My wheels are actually at the tire shop right now getting switched around and tires mounted etc. I'm waiting on the front wheels to be delivered today, then I'm taking them there and they are going to put em on for me.

Shit, totally forgot trip.
>>
>>13966869
What performance am I sacrificing by replacing the running lights and fog lights? Legit curious.
>>
>>13966906
>What performance am I sacrificing by replacing the running lights and fog lights?
The ability to see properly. Fog lights are very purpose specific. They should never be on in clear weather. The DRLs are also very important for vehicle conspicuity and must perform exactly as designed.

You may not be that guy, but you are certainly someone who bought some bullshit and is upset that he just made things worse because he believed Chinese marketing teams.
>>
>>13966959
Lol wut.
I've run LED lights for over 10 years in multiple vehicles.
I can safely say youre a tard.
>>
>>13966967
>I can safely say youre a tard.
No, you can't. You don't know anything about photometry. You're just an ignorant car owner who got sucked into flashy bullshit on eBay.
>>

Nice, I really like the look of those man
>>
>>13967032
Really cheap too, compared to, like, BBS and other various types of wheels. Paid $600 before shipping for all 4 wheels, which isn't bad at all. The enkeis I've had were $600 for just the rears haha.

For winter wheels they should do pretty well.
>>
>>13965273
I'm in Raleigh and have a Ford smartkey that needs to be copied (already have the spare).

Taking the car in for 15,000 mile service in a month or two, might have it done then. Where in NC are you?
