I'm glad. Hope this means the Montero Sport and a redesigned Pajero are coming up.

This always was the best Evolution.

Hold me

I doubt that will happen.

Mitsubishi is nearly dead in North America anyways.

I'll bet that in less than 5 years they'll pull out of the market completely, just like Suzuki and Izusu did.

They won't pull out completely. What they really need is restructuring of MMNA and the North American dealership network.

nah, they're selling a fuckton of mirages and to a lesser extent, outlander sports.

they're doing better than the mid-late 00s at least.

hybrid Outlander Evolution when
>>
No surprise
Crossovers are $$$ and why would anyone looking for practical performance buy an Evo which will prolly come with an ancient interior when stuff like the Golf R exists?

There's a reason it's a called a cult car you know, because no one else particularly cares outside the Evo's fanbase

Scooby is going the same way, probably already has with the latest model
>>
>>13966923
Don't say stupid shit, spike
>>
>>13966962
>buy an Evo which will prolly come with an ancient interior when stuff like the Golf R exists?
Yea, why buy a car with a legitimate full time 4WD system when you can buy Haldex trash?
>>
>>13966962
>ancient interior when stuff like the Golf R exists
Because people still buy Evos to go rallying/racing with, hence the shit interior people will rip apart anyway
>>
>>13966655
>>"no plans to develop a next generation Pajero"
>killing off their biggest selling vehicle
>>
>>13966964
99% of people will not feel any difference between perma 4WD and a Haldex.

Hence why the Evo is a cult car. The 90s are over man. It's 2015.
>>
>>13967005
And the people that are buying Golf Rs and Evos will be able to feel the difference.
>>

Old news is old. The Lancer Evolution was overpriced as fuck anyway, same goes for the Subaru WRX STI.

They should bring back the Galant VR4 or 3000GT VR4.
>>
>>13968157
The problem was that it didn't evolve. The old prices were ok, but the performance kind of stagnated.
>>
>>13968157
The prices weren't bad 10 years ago, but they never got better. I would even argue they got worse because of how bloated they got. An Evo X was worse than the Evo 8 which came out in 2003. It was impressive in 2003 even for the price but it never got any better, and also stayed the same price.

We know.

Fun cars are dying one model at a time. What goes next, the WRX/STi? We're already losing the Falcon and Commodore in Australia because muh practicality.

Car culture as a whole is dying. Stancefaggotry isn't helping it either.

>>13966846
I wish these came in manual.

>We're already losing the Falcon and Commodore in Australia because muh practicality.
It's more because the Australian car industry hasn't been profitable for ages
