The EPA cycle gives you 30 seconds to get to 60, my shitty old diesel takes 16, and I can barely pull out onto a road with a 55 mph limit unless there is 0 traffic, without feeling like I'm forcing people to hit their brakes. Most people will naturally go 0-60 in ten seconds or so unless they are in a car that takes more than 10.
And a Z06 Z07 starts at $89k, the Z07 package is $9995, and requires a carbon fiber option package that costs $2995, but requires no other options. But that NISMO GTR costs a whole GT350 more than the Corvette.
