They also raised my rates and removed my safe driver discount, even though I have never been in an accident that was my fault in 8 years of driving. So that seems a bit unfair. […] The only reasons I uploaded this was to let my 13 subscribers know why I haven't uploaded recently and to show that horrible accidents can happen to anyone at any time. People seem hung up on the camera view, but my Duster has had the exact same perspective camera mount since July 2013. I once went out for a couple seconds after driving for an hour on the freeway with 3-4 hours sleep while in the right lane, the rumble strip on the side of the freeway got me right back. One big difference, most cars in Russia are manual, lots of them stall after the accident.
In the north america videos there are a lot of instances where a car will crash, and the driver ends up flooring it and just takes off causing a secondary accident, or slams into a pole.

I've used my horn once, and that was when someone ran a red and drove out in front of me while I was crossing the intersection on the road perpendicular to them. I saw them start rolling well enough in advance to just slow down without fully stopping, but it still bugged me.
The intersections here have traffic cams that only snap photos when both intersections have the red light, so people will wait until the light is green for perpendicular traffic and try to gun it across.
