I have one and it's an awesome car. /o/ will hate on it because it's not manual and <$20k, but it is definitely one of the best cars in its class. If anyone's actually interested, I can give you my review and how I think it compares to the other cars in its class (335i, ATS, etc.).

I've driven most of those cars when I was cross-shopping. The steering and chassis is better than the 335i. The new C-class wasn't out when I bought this car so I didn't test that. The ATS is good as well, but it didn't feel as refined and I personally don't like how the back looks. The Q50 had a bit more grunt, but that's it. The IS350 definitely has the best balance of build quality, luxury, performance, handling, and price. I got mine for about $13k less than a similarly equipped 335i before taxes.

I haven't driven the is200t yet. But I have driven the NX200t and I will take the 350 V6 over that turbo 4 any day of the week.
The car looks to angry. Lexus' old cars were way better looking, they should go back to that styling.
Lexus's design these days is a hate it or love it thing.
So if someone hates it and you love it, you can just say "okay" and don't go further with the argument because you will both look like idiots. Respect each other's opinion, its a 50/50 split anyways.
As for me, I hate it, but I like it when its actually in person.

I'm the guy with the IS350. Personally I love the styling (duh, I wouldn't have bought it otherwise). I agree that it's a love it or hate it thing, but I've received many compliments about it and I've even caught people staring/taking pictures of it in parking lots. I seem to get much more positive attention than negative attention for the aesthetics of the car.
I will admit, the car is not photogenic at all and looks like ass in pictures IMO.
I really like the IS300.
Shame it's almost unfindable in Yurop and the interior looks plasticrap (gauge cluster looks sexy though)

the last generation IS cars felt like it was a marshmallow on novocaine. everything was soft - pedal, handling, seats. no other car on the road was as numb.
