We discuss the Buick Riviera, and how it turned from a beautiful car into a UFO.
The only thing that can save Buick from Chinese grandpas is an ATS-V based GNX.
ayy lmao
why is it not donked on floating spinners?
I think last gen rivieras are luxurious boats who couldve been awesome if Buick gave it an engine that was actually worth a damn.

90s buick
Great Engines
Good looks
Ahead of their time
Shit transmissions that die at 150k miles every time
There's a question which boggles my mind. Excessive dimensions of vehicles were understandable in the 50s to 70s when hoods had to house giant V8s and you could fit three corpses in the trunk, but how the hell did Americans manage to build two door coupes 5.25m long in the 90s when their cars essentially had the same proportions as any other car? The V6 surely doesn't need a lot of space, if the interior room was larger than in other cars you wouldn't reach the pedals anymore, and the trunk doesn't look enormous either. What in the world makes that car this long?

This was the Buick Riviera at the beginning of its life. >>13946012 was the Riviera when production was discontinued.
Always thought it looked just like a small version of my car.

Styling cues of the times for luxury cars was wide, flat and curvy. Sleek designs to combat air resistance coupled with that obnoxious "I own lots of many hence why I drive a boat to work." mentality.

I've owned a 95 Riviera for 4 years.
It still has plenty of torque, but sadly I'm over it because the electrical is garbage
>3800 is still an amazing engine
>It's just about to hit 140k
