You could swap trunks, but otherwise it leaves holes in the lid. The $4k isn't just for the wing delete, you have to get the STi Limited to have that option, which also adds BBS wheels, leather, and a power moonroof.

These Impala's all come standard with 305 HP 3.6 V6's, same as the camaro.
You can get a used 2012 with moderate mileage for under 10K.
But if you were buying new, this would be the cheapest option provided you could acquire a fleet model.
