There's two ways you can "dad car".
1. Midlife crisis car with strict rules for your uterine parasite (i.e. no food, no drinks, tap your shoes off like Mister Regular) - good examples are Corvettes, 911's, etc.

Ehh... If you're going the truck route it either needs to be V8 or NA 4-banger. Exception is made for the 4.9L I6 in the F-series.
Apparently you can put an HX35 turbo on the 4.9L with stock internals and get close to 300hp and 550 ft./lbs of torque out of it.
