So I am going to be buying a new car. Here's the criteria::
>Have $15,000 budget
>Commute 50 miles back and forth to work
>Has to be Japanese
What care should I get /o/?
Preferably something with enough room for 4 big guys. (when I'm rollin with the squad) But still looks good.
1992 Honda Civic
Honda Accord

FUG! I knew I was missing something.
Has to be 2010 +
>>13930206
Looks pretty sweet, should I go for the v6? Considering I'm doing 50 miles a day.
>>13930188
>Has to be Japanese
Kill yourself weeb. And read the sticky faggot.
>>13930225
im not looking for a cheap car and I want japanese to save money on parts...
How do you know that your brake wont get stuck if you in a JAP car?
>>13930211
2010 civic with 100k miles.
You're dreaming if you think you'll get a decently new car for under 15k
>>13930225
american and european cars are fucking shit faggot
deal with it
>>13930251
I am okay with a civic I guess. Is it worth stretching it another 2-3k for an accord LX ?
>>13930211
I got my 2013 Honda Accord with 39k miles at an auction for 15.8k buckaroos
everything is totally clean except paint has heavy swirls and some tiny dings around the lower part of the car reeeee
lexus CT200h might work well
it's a pretty snazzy looking hatchback, and its got a prius drivetrain so stupid good mileage

Are you trying to finance it, and they won't let you get an older car?
You'd really need to bump your range up to 20k AUD for a decent car. Ford focus and other mid- range cars are pretty comfy.
>>13930272
oh, this is what it looks like
if i wanted a comfy commuter that was relatively new i'd totally go for one of these
you could also look into a chevy volt, which gets even hire mileage and can run as a pure EV for 30 miles on a charge
>>13930211
>has to be 2010+
No
Go fuck yourself
>>13930282
or a chevy cobalt
>>13930252
>>13930282
i reccomend this, they're cool as shit op
>>13930211
if your financing and it has to be that new, go to a different place for financing
look into local credit unions, they tend to have lax year restrictions and good APRs
OP here, no finance. Paying $15,000 cash in a steel briefcase.
Also, my dad has this paper that has NEW 2016 HYUNDAI for $12k usd. But How do I convince him that these cars suck?
>>13930282

>>13930345
average reviews for what?
Reliability? Fun?
>>13930346
bump for thoughts, thanks for the help so far guys.
mazda3.
>>13930345
its not fun to drive, just a comfy good looking prius
>>13930346
is your dad the one imposing the 2010 or newer requirement?
>>13930412
yes he is, that was the only car I found to meet that requirement and be within the budget.
>>13930412
Why not just aim for a car with less than 50k miles?
Some 2005+ cars have been pretty well looked after
I don't know what car depreciates the most in the states, but in the EU the fastest depreciating ones are big sedans with big petrol engines, from non premium brands.
So if I were you I would look for this. Roomy, comfy, usually well treated as ricers don't like them, etc.
Bonus for rwd and >4 cylinders.
