no way that is real
>>13929944
there have been some cars that this was legitimately how you filled the transmission fluid., cant for the life of me remember what, some 50's/60's era european stuff.
>>13929961
The Tremec trans on my old '04 mustang GT was filled that way. Was extremely easy. There may have been a fill plug but I don't remember. Serviced it a couple times and it was always easiest to fill it through the shifter plate.

hello newfriend

>>13929961
I know for sure that every vehicle fitted with a T5 transmission can be filled that way. That includes every mustang from 79 up until early 2000s, Ford Rangers, and Chevy S10s to name a few examples.
In this day and age, I can't believe it. All these people have access to a vast amount of information about cars and repairing cars at their fingertips

>>13930435
None of us were you cock belch. We are smart enough to seek information and ask people who know more than us when we needed to do something we had never done before. Ever fucking consider that? Of course you didn't, or you wouldn't be lashing out at others because of your own deficiencies.

>>13929249

Sure.
>>13930435
I didn't say it was about being mechanically gifted, I was saying they just can't even the slightest bit of research before doing something. It's like the mentality of people that take whatever drugs without knowing anything about the drug being used. Or people that don't read instructions on hardware they're going to use and then wonder why they blew up their brand new electric hedge trimmer from over using it. But I just realised you threw the whole fishing rod in the water
>>13930465
Of course, how could I forget the brute strength and sheer brawn required drive a car up onto a set of ramps, undo a sump plug and lift an oil bottle to a funnel? How could I forget the problems breaker bars introduce when you're trying to undo lug nuts? My herculean strength has made me ignorant of the daily troubles of those less fortunate than me, may bad..

Both the "tuners" and the classic car "Imma restore this bucket of rust that was my dream car when I was 14 and can now afford to have it now that I'm 50" both of your respective niches are incredibly annoying, simply cause it's less about the cars and more about the respective cults of personality on your respective subcultures, you both are the car enthusiats version of Apple fanboys, never shutting up about the new iphone/ipad/powerbook/etc.
I will however give some respect to the oldfags restoring cars cause they at least want a functional car, tunners will grab a brand-new beautiful car that is perfectly functional, abuse the interior to put their shitty overpriced aftemarket turbos on them, putting horrible bodykits on the cars thinking it make them look better and them adding a giant wing on the back that makes more downforce by it's weight..
Tl;dr: Fuck you tunnerfag, at least the old/classic crowd doesn't ruin their cars.
