That sound is called compressor surge. It's generated when the air has nowhere to escape, thus spinning the turbo backwards and making that sound. This is horrible for the lifespan of the turbo and can quickly snap the turbine's shaft.

If you dont care about having to give your turbo ean early retirement because you fucked the bearings you can dose it all you want.
