That would be the 3LZ trim though (for some reason they only have the highest trim level in Germany). That has an MSRP of $90k which doesn't include taxes and dealer fees. That alone will bump the price ~$100k and all of the sudden the German price isn't all that bad. Just slightly more expensive but that is mostly due to a higher sales tax.

They should just modernise the Kappa platform using the construction and material techniques used in the Alpha. base 2.0 n/a engine, then a turbo 4, and then that all-aluminium pushrod V6 based on the LT1/LT4 small block. Offer the old Eaton superchargers used on the 3800 with some adpater plates for dealer install so it technically doesn't compete with the Corvette.
