1. the seatbelt rules cant be fucked with, depends where you in reguards to faded seatbelts smaller garages may let that one slide depends on if you know they guy who does ya wofs. any rips or tears in the seatbelt means it must be replaced.
2. structral rust MUST be replaced with new steel if its in the chassis. suface rust isnt a fail but better to take care of it before it spreads they cant fail you on rust in doors etc as doors and bolt on panels are replacable parts.
3. most garages are cracking down on this. you cannot get a wof with cut springs ANYWHERE! dont matter if you know the dude or not. get them lowered the safe way get the springs heated and compressed. or buy some lower springs like kings super lows then buy lower shocks to compensate. dont be a fucken muppet. ride hight is 100mm at the cars lowest point
4. the rules state you cannot have straight pipes its got to be meaured at 95db so that means at least 1 muffler in your system.

How do you top cunts find oil leaks?
I have a 2.0 Zetec-E that has shitloads of oil running down the back of the engine, over the driveshafts and down onto the oil pan. I did fluids about 8 months ago and i'm already considering an oil top up, it has lost 1/4 off the dipstick since then. There also appears to be oil leaking from the flange where the exhaust meets the header, this looks old as fuck and I don't smell oil burining when driving, so i'm not too sure what to make of that either.
I have just degreased the shit out of the engine so I can hopefully find it once it starts again, but is there a standard way /dat/ approaches leaks?

I have also since discovered oil leaking around the crank at the front of the engine, definitely not run off from elsewhere. We're at about 194K so it might just be worth a rebuild over christmas or something. I fucking hate oil leaks.
