Proof for what, the fuel economy? I'm looking at Honda Accord V6s in the ads and their official numbers say 10.7L/100km, where as Civic Type-Rs only claim something like 8.5L/100km iirc. That's 22 mpg compared to 28 mpg in ameriterms.

Why would Honda ever do something so stupid. Why don't thy install th F20C into all of their cars. 240HP is way more than an Accord needs. Why would they ever make a 150hp K20 for what purpose? They already have the i-VTEC that promises the best economy with the best HP per L out of all the dinosaur crap on the market, why wouldn't they use the top iVTEC engines? It makes no sense to me at all.

I live in Pittsburgh and see them on the road fairly often, so someone is obviously buying them for that price. Now, granted, new in that price range, totally not worth the money. I'd rather buy a used lotus than a new Type-R. Hell, for 30k I could get an s2000 and do an LS swap then throw down 500 ponies and still have 10k left over.
As a poorfag, I'd still probably have a honda as my DD even if I was rich. In the mean time the 98 V6 Accord I got for $1500 gives me all the performance I need.
