First time I test drove a used legacy wagon. Didn't end up getting it, but shit was cash. By no means my favorite car, but everything was just "right" with it.

I love my Legacy. It is the last of its kind before they became Outbacks. It is totally ergonomical. The cupholders and knobs on the radio are perfect.
The only thing that is suboptimal is that when you get in, you kind of have to throw yourself in because the seat is sort of far away when you're standing outside the door. Or maybe the seat is too long and you can't get good footing as you go to sit down.

I know that the EVO's slightly faster and there are quicker cars for the money (pony cars), but i love my STI. I wanted one since undergrad and am now in my late 20s.
Driving my brother's Stage 2 (intake, exhaust, tune) hawkeye wrx, knew it was the car for me. His has 160,000 miles and is still running strong. Of course he's had to replace a wheel bearing, clutch, and other small things, but it's treated him so well.
STI just feels like home. I like the sound, super peaky torque band, notchy transmission; basically everything.
Have to admit though that my favorite car was probably still the milano red 94 prelude SI i had. Tons of good memories while was in college. It wasnt fast by any means, but had a super nice transmission and clutch.

I like the Tofu water cupholders, they're too small for almost everything, though, including bottle drinks.
