So guys I am an Europoor that got into some cash as of yesterday ( worked 2 years with no wage - got government bailout + private settlement).
I owned both E and F series 1ers and now own an F30 330d... More or less one could say i have become a fanboy....
I'd like to splurge and buy myself a quirky BMW classic or soon to be a classic and need your ideas.
Any suggestions fellow RWD lovers ? ( No M3s newer than 2005 please - for tax purposes)

wtf how do you work 2 years no wage? that boggles my mind
>>13903516
If you worked for 2 year without a wage then how did you buy a 1 series and a 330 f30?

It's a 2012.

Lived with parents, did a 2nd job off the books and got pension and health benefits paid off by the employer just wage.
(In exSoviet country everything is possible comrades)
Sure its sluggish 0-100 but goes like a train once you pick up speed. one of 899 too so you could call it collectible.

Think the German embassy had one here with ballistic protection , that shit is too cool but too big to be a fun car in my book ...
E24 maybe? I'd love a M635 CSi, but they're really expensive

Damn anon that was my dream car but could not for the life of me remember the model not even the series number...
OK this is top contender currently, anything else ? Should i even be considering the 850 and 840 next to this ?

Well, you might also want to look into Alpina. Most earlier BMWs have an Alpina version, and some of them are really collectible. For example, the Alpina B8 is a "regular" E36 with a 330 hp V8 stuffed in the front, and in total 221 was produced in the various body styles

Alpina is best BMW.

Basically the only viable cars for pinstripes.

I can't get over how sexy the damned thing is... But then again if something dies on it i have a sexy 2 ton paperweight...

Ahh the B10, drove it in Stuttgart several years back quite the car - I'd probably get buttraped on taxes on it tho as anything Alpina is in another tax bracket here...

I always wondered if you could swap the engine & drivetrain from an older M5 into one of those (The V10 engine of course), but that's neat too.
