Around where I am, there's about 2 major stone haulers, and a bunch of privateers that use their quarries.
If you go to either one of the big haulers and say a rock from one of their trucks broke your windshield, they'll replace your windshield. No questions asked, no charges, they'll just pay for it.
Honestly though, I've never had much trouble with stone/dirt/asphalt trucks kicking up rocks. The tractors that leave 6" tall lumps of clay on the road bother me more, and the silage trucks that lose half their load on the way to the bunker tend to be the worst.
