I think a three cylinder 1.0 5-speed Geo is the ultimate shitbox.
You can beat the SHIT out of it but you'll never break anything because it literally makes no horsepower or torque.
You can floor it everywhere and you won't be speeding - you'll basically be driving 'normal;.

And automatic came into the shop today. I've literally never driven anything so pathetic.
Manuals are hella fun to drive, though.
I had a sedan with the 1.3 and a manual.
I got 25 mpg no matter what.
Shame that it basically rusted in half, otherwise I would probably still have it.
Crash death rates in these things is fucking horrifying.
