Hey /o/,
So I got in an accident on Monday night, I was travelling eastbound on a three lane street passing under the highway when I was hit by another driver at an intersection. They were turning south to get on the onramp to the highway. Knocked into me between the driver's side backdoor and the back wheel well. Deployed the side airbag and generally turned a great day into shit. Spoke with the field rep and he's estimating it'll be a total loss, I've never dealt with this shit before. Wat do?

This is their SUV. Apparently we both had the green light but she had no arrow (so she was at fault) as well as had a few beers a few hours before but was determined sober three field sobriety tests later.

If she was at fault and you had full coverage insurance then basically you'll be fine. Don't be so quick to squeeze your cheeks.

Luckily she had insurance (Liberty Mutual) and it was a fairly new Chevy Trax LS SUV. Just not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do since it's my first accident. I'm really pissed because the Camry was an '07 with 84k miles on it and generally I took really good care of it. I figured you guys would be better than /biz/ in matters such as these. I'm in Arizona if that's helpful. Thanks guys.

That spot is an especially bad spot to be hit, usually a write off due to unibody damage. Hell my air bags didn't even go off.

What I would do is get online and find a new car to buy, line a few of them up. You'll be getting a check in a week or two.
Could be a good thing op. My eclipse was in excellent condition, 2003 with 210k km on the engine. Insurance company gave me $6800 for it. I found a 2008 eclipse with 130k km on engine, asking was $7500 I talked them down to $5300.

Find examples of comparable vehicles to yours for sale and send them links showing that is the fair market value in your area. This is a big deal for some cars, for instance Toyota Land Cruisers sell for 30% more in my area than they do 500 miles away, just a super high demand. Same goes for rust prone cars if you live in the Midwest or anywhere that salts roads, they will demand a higher price locally than their nationwide book value.
Also, buy back the car and part it out if you have room, the buyback price will likely be around 500-700 bucks, look to see what parts from your car are going for on craigs and ebay and see if you can profit there.
Your car probably can't benefit from either of those routes, just thought I would throw that out there for anyone else who has a car totaled.

So doing Autotrader I found that my Camry runs from 7k to about 10k in our area. Is there any argument that I could make (I.E. It would've lasted me 10 more years, debt-free, etc) to up offer? Also, we didn't have rental insurance so we're doing that out of pocket but I read that we're entitled to Loss of Use damages

On average, a 2007 Camry that's still run and drive will net you around $3,000 at auction any day. If they quote you anything less than $1,800 or so then it's worth buying and running though auctio .
