Sup /o/ how'd I do?
Just got a 92 Chevy Blazer 1500 for $800.
>160k miles
>5.7L v8
>auto
>4wd works
>tires/rims in great shape
>paint in decent shape
Rust seems pretty minimal all around. Nothing rotting through. Diff and axles looked healthy. Looks similar to pic related
Shit, the heater core literally just blew, shorting out the Ecu in the process. Do you think I can get my money back?

>implying
>>13893440
Dang. Uh, maybe if the person who sold it didn't skip town yet. or if your state has a lemon law.
>>13893440
Yea, that's why cars don't cost 800$ usually
>>13893471
I called him he said as is, where is, no refund and hung up on me, I spent all the money I had and it dies 3 miles down the road.
>Don't have money for a tow, what do /o/?
>>13893471
Thats not op
>>13893407
that is why I payed $2200 for my 03 Sierra
only issue was a cracked frame which took like 10 minutes to fix
>>13893487
Start pushing. Hope you live someplace flat
>>13893496
>only issue was a cracked frame w
Oh yea, small issue.
>>13893504
>implying welding is hard
>>13893508
You're an idiot if you think 'hurr i'm just gonna weld it up there cletus' is a suitable response to a cracked frame.
>>13893440
Maybe you should check the hydroencapsulator and see if the the torque resovoir is still in good shape because maybe then you can salvage the two-way heat enducting fan.

>"I've never done any work on my own vehicles"
The truck wasn't torn in half, you mongoloid. It passed the safety and I take her over moon craters every weekend. I'd like to think that it's a pretty damn good stress test.

>Buying a non k5 blazer
Poor guy, K5's are even going up in value. Last good year of the Blazer was 1990, after that it was just a Silverado, and then after that it was a really shitty S10
>>13893601
Whats wrong with a silverado?
>>13893647
Not too much, but the K5 platform is infinitely superior.
You can pretty much run a K5 till the body rusts away, then just replace the body. Pretty sure GM still makes the K5 platform for the military. The S10 versions were truly god awful
>>13893657
>Pretty sure GM still makes the K5 platform for the military
They don't. There's really nothing all that attractive about the K5.
>>13893657
I'll keep that in mind when I'm looking in the future. Thanks
