Just make sure you wear gloves hun. You don't want to accidentally damage an acrylic fingernail.

It's best to do springs and shocks/struts at the same time. Lowering springs on stock shocks can put more stress on them causing them to fail prematurely. You want performance oriented shocks for lowered cars.

Take the the coils/struts off the car then let a shop change the springs. The shity spring compressors that you will have to rent from vatozone suck and can kill you if they slip. Pay the few bucks to let a grease monkey deal with that

This as well. I did this when I installed my coilovers on my Saturn. Had a shop swap the mounts off my Struts over to the new coilovers.
Total cost to have a shop do it: $40
Keep in min I still installed the coilovers myself.
