A falcon with cougar and thunderbird parts. Or some other combination of the three.

In terms of being absolutely fucking gigantic, yes. The excursions are absolute behemoths. 8mpg with towing package gearing. The first vehicle to be fitted with special low-hanging bumpers or some shit like that for the safety of other cars. Rides like it doesn't have any suspension. Fuckhuge v10. You climb into it, you don't get into it. Parking is nigh impossible.
That being said, drive one of these if you ever get the chance. Feel the symbol of excess first hand, and then never complain about parking your car ever again.

Jeep Wagoneer. It's not as big but it's the right shape and from the right era.
At the time the episode was written the eternal (18 years long) generation of the Suburban was discontinued just years ago and still seen everywhere on the roads while competitor SUVs barely even started to gain ground (Ford didn't even have a full size four door SUV until 1996) so it's probably the correct piece of cultural background, though one might argue that the Jeep Wagoneer looks more similar.

this. however
>Ford didn't even have a full size four door SUV until 1996
is incorrect
>what is 1989 bronco centurion

My father actually used his as a work truck, believe it or not, since it could tow almost anything. Towed a fuckhuge toy hauler camper trailer too.
>>13885605
A low volume third party conversion with official Ford approval that didn't play an actual role in American car culture at the time.
>>13885609
Your father is a short woman?
>>13885601
