Hello /o/

A couple of weeks ago I reserved a 2016 Mustang Ecoboost stock,

I choose the stock since the premium package is almost out of my budget.

It was difficult but this will be first car

Any advice? Am I doing it right?
>>
>>13883219

nobody gives a flying shit.

enjoy the car though.

transmission? performance pack?

the premium is stupid. 4 grand (3 grand potentially from buying existing stock) is not worth a bigger screen with a pre-out-of-date nav system, partial leather seats, and cooled seats that have mediocre reviews.

the base still has backup camera with steering lines, bluetooth audio, USB ports, leather wrapped shifter, boot, and steering wheel, power seats, auto headlights and blind spot mirrors.
>>
though it might be foolish to get a brand new car as a first car I wish you the best.

If you live in a place with a bad winter invest in some decent snow tires.
>>
>>13883219
Will you be happy with it? Literally, this is all that matters. Unless you're a stancefag, in which case, die.
>>
>>13883219
I'll give it to you the truthful but harsh way: No, this was not a wise purchase. Why buy a car brand new, an ECOBOOST mustang of all things, when it will depreciate the second you recieve it, especially when you could pay around the same, if not, less for a used GT from last year?
>>
>>13883256
Because bad credit, or no credit whatsover (as probably is the case for a first-time car owner) means he will get a better monthly payment on a car with zero miles on it from the dealer.
>>
>>13883256
Pretty much this.

>>13883219
Is it at least a manual?

No performance package and transmission... I may get some insults but I got it automatic because its my first car and since it is brand new I dont want to screw it due to lack of skills with the manual.

And yeah thats what I though, thanks for supporting my decision with the stock option, I might get some leather covered sits after receiving it

>>13883242
Here in my country we only have sunny and rainy conditions, so I hope Im good
>>
>>13883288
>driving an automatic mustang
Yeah you fucked it.

you can pick up manual pretty easy. but the automatic is undeniably more convenient, and is technically faster.
the perf. pack is a bunch of neat shit but that one will be more comfortable.

fill it up with good gas and enjoy your 30 MPG out of it.

>I might get some leather covered sits after receiving it
I doubt it. they're pretty comfy.
also
>sits
>>
>>13883256
Pretty much what >>13883269 said, Ford is giving me a confortable monthly payment, I choose the ecoboost specially for the fuel economy, it is still fast for me and I do prefer the new trim over the 2000 - 2014 ones
>>
>>13883251
It makes me happy, even thought I know that I could invest that money on something better. Im almost 20 so thats why the "not wyse" decision. Still pretty excited
>>
enjoy riding the pony op, my neighbour got one and its sexy as fuck

Thanks for the support, by the way, obviously since this is an important decision I think I watched all the possible mustang videos from youtube and reviews and I have some questions:

Is the stock radio really buggy?

Does the turbo sound when rising? (not asking bout the BOV)

Does the stock has the "Mustang" word on the bottom part of the door? ( I did actually take the mustang for a test drive but I dont remember this detail)
>>
>>13883338
Thanks a lot bro, looking forward to it

I have not had a single issue with the base radio system. I use the bluetooth a lot for phone calls and music.
you don't hear the turbo really unless you give it a good bit of the fuck. you don't ever hear BOV.
yes, the doorplate/sillplate has it. it's not lit up though, like the premium adds. but it just gets dirty anyway.

Amazing,

One last thing, what about the audio system quality ? Does it maintain good quality at high levels?
>>
Get a new downpipe, cat back exhaust, intake, oil catch can, and a Cobb tuner with an E-tune from Tune+.

it sounds pretty good to me. I'm not really an audiophile, though. the cabin has a lot of sound deadening compared to my fusion or even old ES.
>>
>getting a car that plays engine sounds from the speakers

>>13883466

Sounds good to me,

Thanks for the replies bro,

looks like it was a good idea to open this thread.. it definetly pump me even more

>>
>>13883486

>>
>>13883486

But I dont mind the sound symposer
>>
>>13883510

How DARE you express an honest opinion. That is such bullshit.
>>
>>13883494
what the fuck is it with you finding a reason to post the same god damn picture on every post
>>
>>13883510
Why not make vroom vroom sounds yourself? It's the same concept.
>>
>>13883288
I learned to drive manual in the dealership parking lot after buying my '15 Mustang.

Picked it up in 20 minutes and was fine from there. It's so worth it.
>>
>>13883219
>spend $25k on a new car
>can't afford another $3k for a better package

It's like $40 a month more. I don't get it.
>>
>>13883219
Why not buy a used premium one? You would still have cash to fix in the very unlikely case something breaks...

These guys are retarded. Its his first car. Who gives a flying fuck if its a autmatic or a 4 cylinder.
O and fyi the 2.3 ecoboost can run a 12.1 with a automatic with about 2000 invested in it.

>Brand new automatic 4cyl Mustang

holy fuck I'm dying here. OP is the epitome of a 17 year old white girl
>>
>>13887312
Oh man OP's angry enough to benchrace now.
>>
>Automatic
>On a car you're going to have for well over 5 years

I couldn't do it.
>>
>>13883219
Everybody is hating on OP.

Meanwhile all these haters are driving shit boxes, taking the bus, riding any number of self propelled poor fag transport device or walking.

Most of you losers can't even afford a decent pair of walking shoes.

Congrats on the new wheels OP. The only people who will talk shit to you are on this board. Enjoy the compliments and turned heads out there in the real world.
>>
>>13887354
Actually im not the op dickhead. And that not a bench race. watch the video
>>
>>13887354

nigger how stupid are you? OP didnt post that

The auto Ecoboost Mustang with some bolt ons, tune, and tires runs 11.50s quarter miles. Look up tune+ and look around on the mustang6g.com site. It's also safe, as the stock engine has shown it can hold 530 whp for 400+ miles. The tune running 11.50s is about 380 whp with 430 wtq.

If you love 4 cylinder turbos, this is THE car to get. It has a very low initial cost, as you can get one for mid 20k. Add in 5k for tune, bolt ons, tires, and not much will touch you.
>>
>>13883288
Sweet car my friend, may you have fun driving it
