There is a Lincoln Mark 8 for sale, for 1500 at 112,000 miles. It has busted suspension in the back and doesn't shift.
Thinking about buying tearing the motor out of it, and putting it in my Grand Marquis. Then crushing the Mark 8.
Or, should I get rid of the Marquis, which is at 170,000. Fix the suspension in the Mark 8, put the Marquis transmission in it. And just drive that?

Yes, e85 is like 105 octane. It's poor man's race fuel. My tune for 92 octane makes a noticeable difference in performance, not a ton but you notice it. Also a tuner will adjust the transmission shift points to be even more aggressive and shift better. If you plan any other performance mods, do those first then get a tune but mine is completely stock.

Mark 8 is a lot less reliable than a Panther, it'd be slightly faster with a smaller body. Depends what you want.
