I never even knew about this car until a few weeks ago, I was always aware of the diablo but never looked into them since I am a ferrari guy. But after reading the specs on the diablo gt, the car is just pure italian insanity

It's an obscure trim level of a supercar that wasn't exported outside the US and built in the late '90s when most of /o/ denizens weren't old enough to read.
The Diablo GT didn't have any noteworthy accomplishments and in the supercar market which is just flavor-of-the-month, it's easily forgettable not unlike the Alfa 8C or Aston One-77.

This is s a totally undefined question with no real answer. What does it mean to be "German?" How "Italian" was the Diablo to begin with knowing that the finalized design for production came from a Chrysler design studio? Was the Diablo some how an Anglo-Asian mix for a period when the Malaysian and Indonesian owners hired a British engineer as president in the mid-'90s? What about Belgian designer Luc Donckerwolke who designed the 6.0L Diablos?
All we can say for sure that the when VAG bought Lamborghini, they were focused on increasing productivity of the company and working on the Diablo replacement and a new baby Lambo. The only observable changes we saw to the Diablo were the fixed headlights, new variable valve timing to the engines, and updated interior. But none of those things are exclusively German.
