8.1L 6 speed, did all the mercruiser mods, long tubes, programmer, ported and polished the heads and beat the hell out of it. still have the drivetrain in the garage for a project

saw it at a dealership for 6k with 80k miles, they had a sign that said "guaranteed $4000 trade in" so i traded in an XJ i paid $400 for and drove it for a year before i traded it in on my lancer

I'm about to. I went with the LEDs because I was blowing incandescent bulbs about every 4-5 months. Voltage swing on GMs is usually too much for them. Heat cycles and that. LED's are supposed to be less susceptible to failure. But like half of the diodes have failed, so... Might just invest in some decent amber LEDs.

No, you need to return them to OEM. If you're blowing bulbs, something is wrong. Mine doesn't blow bulbs.
