What is the most common car in your local junkyard? Looking to build a junker rally/street able beater. Was thinking Volvo because Volvo but they aren't really common in the yards around me. Most common would be hondur then Saab. Rather would have rwd so Honda is out, and I know nothing of Saab.
Nothing beats beating the hell out of a $500 car and doing shit you wouldn't do with a normal car. Last one I had was a geo tracker 4wd I got for $150. Built a cage for it and added 4 point and had a blast.
>Saab
>not fwd
Are you a pl00b?

Local junkyard has a 99 9-5 turbo 5 speed with rear end damage and 175000 miles for $365
>tfw none of the local junkyards will let you look around for "insurance reasons"
>you have to call them and hope they have one employee who knows anything about your car
I once had to get a whole new shifter for my Saturn for a clip I broke on the shifter. Went and told them I needed a shifter for a 5 speed MANUAL Saturn Ion. They had none and had to get one from another junkyard.
Ok, I figured. So long as it's the right part.
I got the call the part came in, went to go pick it up
>automatic shifter
I RAGED.
When I went to get parts for my GL from a BRAT they had rows and rows of these.
They had loads of GMT400s and GMT800s too.

When I lived in Texas there were a massive amount of rolled or otherwise badly crashed 4th gens.
Get an old Crown Victoria for $500.00.
It's RWD and has a V8.
