Alright /o/, what car do you think will shoot up in value over the next 5-10 years?
the gt4
foxbody, s13 in good shape.
R34 Nissan GTR
The Kappa Twins.
Prices are already on the rise.

Yea they will go up
Honestly the turbo ones never really became cheap
But the E34 M5 will be the next e30 m3
20k+ prices within 5-10 years
I saw one around 2007~ for 5k clean medium miles on it
>>13847037
do you think the esprit will too
a clean mid 80s monte carlo ss
>>13847054
Possibly those are cool and pretty rare.
However even the older ones can be had for a low price, its been awhile since I checked.
>>13846970
toyobaru
its this age 240sx and finding a clean one will be rare
Finding a clean and well looked after one of these is already nigh impossible, especially the turbo ones. They haven't achieved true classic status yet, so uninformed owners just neglect them or outright scrap them. When everyone realizes how iconic these things are, there will be very few of them left on the roads, and the prices will go berserk (to my fucking misery since I've always wanted one)
>>13847057
the late 90's models made by rover already cost a small fortune, and it's only gonna get worse

>>13847133
I think many clean cars from the 90s will be valuable for the nostalgia factor and for the fact its clean.
>>13847037
What about the 550? Front engine V12, three pedals, made before the full computer era, etc. The manuel 575s are hideously expensive already
>>13847179
>what about the 550
The Ferrari market has already recovered from 2008. Ferraris are built to order by customers, unlike other cars which can be ordered by dealers as dealer stock.
That being said I think 550 is a good car to buy they wont depreciate unless their is a huge economic shock, unless you do something stupid to it. I like the 550 personally and would buy one. But I know the v8s are definately going to increase in value for a fact.
>pic related its a 575 M
cheap today but i can see them being overpriced in the future
>>13847179
>>13847225
Ferraris tend to depreciate, bottom out and plateau, appreciate and plateau.
Their prices depend on their production numbers and demand. Take the Dino which was once considred undesirable and is now a bluechip collector grade car.
>3083 550s produced
>457 RHD, RHD cars are typically more expensive
>>13846970
Certainly not a 996 and definitely not the base model.
I see the GMC Syclone getting up there. They've already started to appreciate over the last ten years. Also, there were less than 3000 of them ever made which means that they are pretty rare.
>>13847357
>ferrari dude here
>certainly not a 996

please
>>13847062
those are so rare now
>>13847230
>cheap

Every goddamn 240 on Craigslist has missing body panels, a fucked up half gutted interior, 200,000+ miles, eBay parts, engine/electrical issues, and an asking price of 3,500-4,000$. They're overpriced right now.
No vehicles from the 80s, 90s or early 2000s has really shot up in value. Modern vehicles will continue to decline in value while boomer mobiles steadily raise in value.
>>13847911
you are retarded
look at the price of special editions like scuderia ferraris, nismo skylines or gt3 911
>>13847469
My grandfather has a 1986? maybe 1985 Monte Carlo SS with t-tops, 4-speed manual and 12,000 original miles. It's his sunday cruiser.
They're really nice cars. Super comfy interiors.
>>13847918
Let me rephrase:
No vehicle since the mid 80s under the MSRP of $100,000 has gained any noteworthy value in decades.
>>13846970
A HG GTS Monaro will be a quarter million dollar car in 10 years time, if i had $60,000 i would buy one now.
>>13847937
the gt4 cayman did
I cant think of any other vehicle, maybe an exige or a kitcar will
>>13847918
Scuderias have sunk below $200k they topped out at about $450k in the US.

>>13847991

once they fuck up the miata yeah, but since they haven't yet nah
S54 M Coupes. One of the only interesting cars BMW has ever built. These things are probably going to be stratospheric in 5-10 years. I desperately hope the market bubble bursts.
>>13847461
What are you talking about?
Even the GT2 is now worth only about half as much after 10 years. You can get them for well under $100k these days.
R/T & SRT variants only, naturally. The AWD models have Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC. It's very difficult to find one that hasn't been donked out or left to fall to pieces.
>>13848855
>458?
>F430?
>360?
Nope, not sure if trolling.
>>13848612
>R/T
Never.
By your logic, Fox body Mustangs and turd-gens should have a 5-figure minimum by now.
SRT versions have a better shot, but it's going to be a while and they have to hold together long enough.
dis
>>13847154
not that guy but damn.
that insta butthurt and damage control anytime someone says... or better yet posts a reaction to a pic.
typical gtr fanboy response I suppose
>>13848612
When you look at forums, these are notorious for being annoying to work on and difficult to add power, so idk
>>13847034
I don't think they'll shoot up that much. They could still get a little cheaper. I could see GXPs and Coupe models holding or gaining value for sure tho.
Every fun manual car

I still see them all the time, but they're so overpriced for what they are. People are asking T-Type money for decent examples. The MCSS is a complete turd in terms of performance too. No power, sloppy 200r4s and glass 7.5 rear ends.
This is the kind of car you buy to build. I have no idea why anyone would ever want a stock one.
>>13848612
>>13848963
The last year SRT's will be worth something. One year only refresh and they only made something like 200 of them.
>>13850156
>Slower in every aspect than a 20 year old Cadillac
