I used to have a 88 wrangler in college. It had a 4.2L inline six (carburated) with a 5 speed. Sitting on 35s with spring over axle, shackles, and lift springs. It would go anywhere and never left me stranded, even after taking a beating in the desert. It had 230K miles, if I recall correctly. I paid 3k, and it had brand new tires on it.
It would throw the rear u-joint pretty often, but that was the previous owners fault for welding the axle perches off angle. Still ran strong. Even with stock gearing (way to high with 35s). It would have been unstoppable if I would put on some stronger axles and re-geared. Instead I sold it and bought a nissan. I still miss that thing. But new chrysler vehicles? forget about it

Well i was set on chevys. But every era has there highs and lows. Gm started to fuck up hard so now i look in to imports
because they are actually reliable and stay that way.
I think I wanted to stay a Chevy guy because of hunnndderr and toofody imports fags ruined it for me. But if you run it bone stock and dont rice it out. You can enjoy a reliable and great mpgs vehicles.
