For what it's worth, I adore the Indian Scout.

Have you seen Lemmy's review from Revzilla? I completely agree with his assessment.
It's a great bike if you're willing to do a couple of mods to it. The front suspension is mushy, the rear needs more travel, the front brake is too soft, and the mirrors and turn signals are just flat out bad and need to be replaced.
I'm ok with the pipes but most guys are going to swap them out.
If you're hellbent on an Indian go for it. I love me some water cooled cruisers. But a Honda Rebel is not a bad bike either.
