this WAS the bright future of american automotive design. the corvair monza 2 door as a sports car, the corvair sedan as a family car, the corvair wagon as a large family car, the greenbriar as a work van, and the greenbriar rampside as a VERY useful pickup truck. the only drawback was the lack of power, the unorthodox feeling that repelled so many potential customers, and the general lack of safety. i truly think the american automotive market would be a much greater thing today if the corvair was a huge success and was way more influential in automotive design.
I thought it was a good episode. We'll see that truck again for sure. Pissed off about the pay to see early shit though.
