Can anyone tell me what size tires this truck looks like it has and how high it's lifted? I would like my Sierra to look like this
>>
>>13840632
Looks like 33s with a crazy lift, like 4".
>>
Pre 90's hiluxes have this "look" on 205R16's
>>
>>13840636
Probably this.
3-4 on 33s makes most pre 00s trucks look truckier
>>
Nah, no way those look to be 305/75/16s with a 3" I have had 33s on a stock truck
>>
3" body lift, front torsion bars cranked up, and 33's

Thanks friend. I have the same wheels on my truck (pic related) and I think tires like you said and a leveling kit with a lift would look nice
>>
>>13840893
Nice u finally got that truck from your grandpa or whoever? Looks clean.
>>

>not giving a sidewall measurement

Nigger, it's not going to look like that on some 20545R16s
>>
>>13840849
Yea, and that one is jacked way the fuck up. I fit 33s on mine, but it didn't have nearly that much clearance in the wheel wells.
>>
>>13840908
yep. its got a few scratches and dents but hey, you cant keep a truck with 426k miles new forever
>>
>>13840928

205R16 is a real tire size.

When the aspect ratio is not mentioned you assume 80%.

So it would be then 205-80 r 16. 205r16 was popular with offroaders

305/75r16's on a leveling kit
>>
>>13840893
get a leveling kit and put 31.5 75 r16 or 305 75 r16 tires and it will look sexy as hell

>leveling kit

While they are then level unloaded they would have that ridiculous rearward lean when loaded. So then what is the point?
>>
>choosing tires based on appearance
Sometimes I hate being associated with brotruckers like this.
>>
>>13843747
>pickup owners more concerned with form over function
Nothing really new here...
>>
>>13843747
>loaded
m8...
>>
>>13843747
ive never had a truck with a leveling kit, no need for it IMO but leveled trucks dont squat that bad under full load, no more than a stock truck. all of these leveling kits are torsion key kits, so the same amount of level (maybe 2" maximum) can be achieved by turning the stock keys, the aftermarkets are just a little beefier. the point is clearing bigger tires without a lift kit.

>>13843760
i choose tires based on tread pattern and wear life, but i tend to buy the tallest tires i can fit under the truck stock without lifting, that dosnt have anything to do with appearance. do i think it looks good? sure. but its more about getting a little extra ground clearance
