Will I die if I put a set of $9 brakes on my car?

>brake best premium quality
yeah why not
Imagine being a fucking american and actually getting the cheapest brakes because you don't actually care about your car and are able to spend money elsewhere
>>13829942
That's what I'm saying. I was gonna go to the dealership to get a set of OEM brakes but this is premium quality.
>>13829936
Well OP, a good lunch will usually cost you around $10, and that's a one-time use purchase. So I'll let you do the math on the cost/use ratio of those brakes.
Is like no body Googles. Everybody must be spoon fed.

> let me just cheap out on a really important component on my car. Because im too much of a nigger to spend $15 on decent brake pads
Hmmmm
>>13829936
I like how you think there is a chance of death, but you still kinda want these pads.
Not being sarcastic.
>>13830263
Gooby pls
>>13830267
Hmmm strange.
Well it says is a oreilys brand. And mostly oreily brand brakes are made by bosch. But is a super economy line. Meaning is cheap as fuck
>>13829936
no. it will probably worn out earlier.
Do it and trash the shit out of them. See how long they last.
>>13829951
Why is it always about being an American to you? You just see what you want to see.
I used a set of these on my Honda because one of my rotors was fucked and I knew whatever pads I put on there were going to get chewed up anyway. They didn't last very long, as I expected, but they worked fine otherwise.
By the time they wore out I had some new rotors and a set of the ceramic Brakebest pads ready to go. I installed those and they've not worn out yet. It's been a few years but I don't drive the car a whole lot.

$15? Nigga, it's $40 for an OEM pair for my shitty Corolla. $100+ for a nice set. Sucks that it's disc brakes all around, but I only need two right now.
Been eyeing a Project Mu setup for canyon runs, but not sure how much I need the expense right now with a smog I'm sure to fail coming up.

I'm vaguely curious how long they'll last. Few months probably since I just drive the car around town and sometimes commute to work in it.
>>13829936
only if you do not support the brand by putting cool stickers on your car
>>13829942
they do have pretty sick box art
>>13830512
If you go Project Mu Just be sure to use the $68 a bottle Project Mu brake fluid anon
>Don't be like that other faggot who bought the Project Mu brake pads and used shitty dot 4 fluid
>Track day
>Muh meme brakes
>>13830556
I'd put BRAKE BEST PREMIUM QUALITY stickers on the rear quarter window. Shit would be tight. Maybe get some Chevron and generic O'Reillys windshield wiper brand stickers too.
>>13830619
Good to know. It's just an idea at this point. Car is only slowly coming together. Already have to use the $50 a bottle Kaaz LSD oil.
>tfw all of my paychecks go to Corolla life support
I didn't know Project Mu were meme brakes though. Most AE86 people seem to go for FC brake setups or some shit.
>>13830512
+1 to project mu. good initial bite in the ns800
>>13829936
Get some brembo pads, they're aren't even that expensive
>>13830278
>MADE IN HOLLAND
Can`t be that bad, at least it isn`t some turk crap.
>>13830619
>If you go Project Mu Just be sure to use the $68 a bottle Project Mu brake fluid anon
Is the fluid also cyan colored? I want it to match my K&N Cold Air Intake (Million Mile Limited Warranty®).
This is very important.
>>13831133
>brembo
stfu brand fag. OP will be fine with his pads.
>>13829936
I bought OEM pads for my car because the stock ones lasted 147k miles. I figure I won't have to replace them again by the time I get rid of it.
