There is so much wrong with this car. Are there any redeemable qualities?

GA70s are horrendously slow
Twin Turbo GZ70s are slightly less slow
MA70s are lol headgasket but that's manageable, 7Ms are decent engines
JZA70 is best
They're good cars. They just suffer from being beaten on by fuck head teenagers the last 20 odd years

MUCH nicer than its successor, IMO.
Has all the good things: Double wishbone front and back, I6 motor that can handle hellish pressures and give insane amounts of power, pop up lights.
As bad points the NA version is not worth it, and all of them weight way too much to be a serious sports car, more of a GT.
Lines are decent, but that pigfat though.

It was overpriced as shit when new, too. 75% the cost of a 911 at the time.

there was no lexus at the time so the supra was toyota's best GT car. That's why its so well equipped, i needed to be because those buying it would compare it to other expensive GT cars. Once lexus became a thing and had their own coupes then the supra was bumped down a notch from GT car to sports car.
