Yes.
If you want to be a limo driver. As this training forces your inputs to be very smooth and gradual.
Did something similar in Driver's Training class.
>estate motor
Had to Google this
No, stationwagons ate for hauling your bratty kids and his shit friends around and lumber, they're worthless for competitive driving against rx7, miata,ae86
Yes, it's a tool Jackie Stewart used in his instruction, he preached smoothness and control as the key to speed, it lead to 3 world championships at a time when surviving the season put you in the top half of the field. It starts to fall apart once you get into a car with high grip you're going to be pulling over 1G lateral you'll probably slosh over a cup 1/10th full, so pretty much any car built in the last 20 years on non-shit tires.
Haven't watched this whole video, but car control really hasn't changed since the 20's or 30's, relevant bit is ~43 minutes in:

Is this relevant in rally? On loose surfaces you really throw the car around.

Yes, it's an exercise in control. They do not 'throw the car around' without knowing precisely when to turn the wheel, feather the throttle, brake, and clutch to maintain control.

Not if you want to drive fast. Rubbing wax on and rubbing wax off won't make you a good fighter either.

It doesn't teach going fast, it teaches smooth car control. A very important part of one day going fast. All starts with the basics
How about we talk about driving techniques on the downhill
There's a thing I saw where it's an orb half full of water and a line striped at the resting place. You can see where the water moves around without it getting around the inside of your car

Hoonwagon reporting in.
>>13832490
The point in the up is that you don't want to spill water in your car. Making it impossible to spill removes the incentive to actually drive well.

You watch too much fiction
