Drive was surprisingly pretty boring. Hardly any driving at all with most of the focus going to the moral choices of the driver and love interest. I find Carey Mulligan to be a mopey and terrible actress so having her as the love interest didn't help either.
I suppose the best car related film I've seen lately is Repo Man. It must've been so fucking cool to be a 20 something year old in the punk scene and lives in LA in the 80s.
