I think the only way hidden headlamps would come back is if they were like some old American cars, where they don't actually "pop up" but are hidden. Maybe if they are only partially concealed too like the Z31, or some combination of the two.

fliplights where meant to make the car front as low as possible, therefore there's literally no fucking way in hell they will have a return since there are even LAWS that fucking state how tall a car front has to be plus how much space there has to be between the hood and the highest part of the engine underneath it.
