What are you fags working on?
I was at a pretty rough state with the javy.

Protip guys, don't sand an engine bay right before winter so when you get done, it's too cold to paint and then let it sit outside all year in frustration.

So since I don't learn from my mistakes this is attempt #2.
got lucky as their was literally no rust in the fender trusset area.
Instead of fucking around with wire wheels and an anemic air compressor I opted to media blast the front end. So off it goes.

Picking it up, wasn't too impressed for $400 which I thought was kind of high for just the engine bay. Definitely rushed it and missed some spots and tight areas that could've been reached.
By the time I get off work it's already getting dark which blows
Masking it once again.
Day 2, only had a brief window to get some paint on it as this was the last day the temperatures would be warm enough so shit was on.

Already some very slight surface rust was forming so I hit all the areas to not take a chance.
The front of the car looks like it's been in a minor accident at some point, the bottom rad support is pushed in the corner and brazed.
Time to paint and it's dark again, good shit.

I'm using rattlecans I had bought about a year and a half ago as I didn't have a compressor then. It's the original electric blue in acrylic enamel poured in a can and a 2k epoxy primer with an activator you use by pressing in the bottom of the can.
I honestly should have just bought a gun and sprayed it that way but I had the cans and didn't want to waste the money.

The temperatures got colder then I liked but I was already to deep to stop, The primer went on nice but the color was running easily and wasn't going on evenly in some areas.

I wish I had cans for another coat but the way it was going on I had to use all cans for basically 1.5 coats. It didn't come out as nice as I would have liked but it will do for now.
