Does anyone know what this is called? It's a small flip down compartment in my 2010 Highlander and the plastic/spring mechanism broke and I would like to replace it - but I can't find the part listed anywhere online (or don't know what to search for)

Its just another compartment. Go to the dealer and see if they can tell you what it is or fix it (personally i wouldnt let a dealership touch my car)

Try that first you might not even need a new panel. And that panel will be a dealer only part / scrap yard part.
