Vendors already make mounts for most swaps. They make complete kits. Or you could peice it together yourself.
You don't need adapter plates because you use a T5/T56/T6060 that bolts right up to the motor.

That drivetrain allows all forward, all reverse, and either side driving forward while the other goes reverse through two transmissions and three transfer cases.
The closest thing that I can think of is a tank transmission, and that's only using one transmission and engine in a substantially larger package.
