Not an option. If he had 30k in cash he wouldn't be dumb enough to pay cash for a car. What he means by "have $30,00" is I can ask my bank for a loan and hopefully cover this note as long as everything goes okay for the remainder of the contract.
Do you plan on keeping it long term or do you like to trade up ever 5 years or so?
