Engineers do not take into account people who drive aggressive, rev high, enter boost a lot, etc. In a modified vehicle would you rather spend a bit more on oil changes or wreck your engine. I'll change at 3 to 4k with a new filter running synthetic cause, It's insurance.

It's the heaviest MR2 generation, but with the most power in the turbo model.
The ZZW30 has nearly perfect handling out of the box
I would say the SW20 responds the best to suspension upgrades, although in stock form, before the 1993 revision it's very much a good track package out of the box.
