talk me out of it /o/. Wanting the 90-94 TT for my weekend/project car.

Get a VR4 instead, easier to work on better looking, and faster.
>>13813702
def not better looking
>>13813702
>Get a VR4 instead

>>13813695
I cant talk you out of such a great car. Although i am more into the 31 instead.
>>13813702

>>13813695
get a starion
>>13813710
wrong
>>13813712
>>13813722
Are you telling me a z32 is easier to work on? because i bet you have worked on neither
>>13813695
As long as you are prepared for the high cost of parts go for it. Unfortunately I ran into financial problems and had to sell the set of turbos I had waiting for my project. I am starting to fear I will never get it back together.
>>13813736
I have not worked on a VR4 but this: >>13813722
Looks so much worse. Even the local Z mechanics hate working on them and bitch about their reliability
>>13813736
I own one.
>>13813755
holy jesus it begs for the swap

i love the way it sounds, and the level of perfection he has achieved in that build.
thats no garage swap, thats just wow
i mean its just so sorted and perfect
>>13813769
I am not saying I dislike the car, I think the Z looks better and apparently it is somehow more reliable.
>>13813801
Z is way more expensive to build as well
>>13813807
Hence why I said be prepared to spend a lot on parts. All depends on desired hp level, if you only want 400-500 the stock internals can handle that.
I would totally get one if they were easy to work on. Guess I will have to be like the rest of the faggots on /o/ and get a miata
>>13813807
>Z is way more expensive to build as well
Than a GTO that has near zero aftermarket?
At the very least you can get off the shelf stuff for a Z32, there really isn't much for GTOs
>>13816921
This.
They're beautiful cars if built right. There is a thin line between making these cars ugly beyond belief and beautiful. If you do get the TT, be prepared to get 6-8mpg, get assfucked by insurance, and better be 100% on top of your maintenance.
>>13813695
no.
I love them. Can go fast for not much money (like low 12s on stock turbos), sexy as fuck, and cool as fuck. Pretty good aftermarket too. The only reason I don't want one is working on it, but maybe you won't mind it. It will be a pain in the ass, but not impossible.
Eh, just another 90s grand tourer that wants to be a sports car.
Get a SW20 turbo or an FD.
