Still not sure what you're trying to get across. Ok obviously 22 claimed highway isn't exactly fantastic just from a numbers standpoint, but considering the power it's making and that it's supercharged instead of turboed, the tall gearing really does make sense and I don't see why more manufacturers wouldn't use it.

why do people think this is a sports car? it is based off of a sedan. it is a shortened sedan. the wikipedia page even classifies it as a luxury sedan. its a sports sedan at best. i mean, this car totally and 100% just blends in with "Regular car" modern traffic. it does not look sporty in any way. not from the front, not from the back, not from the side.

Streets of Willow, about two years ago. I was actually crew on a TV pilot that never ended up airing, and we were doing a comparison thing of all the GTRs from the R32 and up.
They decided last minute that they wanted to get footage of all the cars on track at once, and were short a driver. I got the job when they found out that I had instructed a bunch of trackdays there, had an SCCA license, and experience in RHD cars.
Anyway, it was OK, but not the god machine it's made out to be. I it felt a lot like an Evo 8 or similar GDB STi, and I didn't think it was any faster around a track than an E46 M3. I was a lot more impressed with the R32 because of its age, but the R34 wasn't that much of a leap considering the 10 years between them.
Also, I don't like the way it looks in person. The interior is kind of cheap and the exterior is too tall and narrow and small overall, and the whole package kind of looks like a riced econobox IRL. The R32 and R33 are much better looking IMO.
