Already checked the vin of the car the engine came out of. Its a 5.3. They used the same block for 4.8 and 5.3, just changed the stroke on them.

Anyone have some extra ls parts lying around? I got to this 5.3 a little late at the junkyard and its missing the throttle body, coil packs, injectors and rails, ecu, wiring harness, and some sensors. Its pretty much a long block plus an intake and a couple sensors.
