I'm all for Mr. McAfeein for the Libertarians if Trump and Hillary are the nominees. A forceful character like his could distinguish the party from those statists. If it's Cruz for the Republicans then I'm more hesitant.
Yes, but Cruz would keep things as-is at best, which I for one am not happy with. Voting in another politician to fix the work of politicians is just silly if not insane. We need someone who understands the world as it is now, internet and all.

Be realistic. No libertarian candidate has a chance at the office of the president in 2016, but under the right conditions the party could grow significantly, disrupt the shits, and force policy. MacAffee would exist as an incarnation of punishment. He would come off as petty if he went after someone that has close to the same politics without tedious esoterics.
