Does /news/ actually just jump to /pol/ tier baiting bullshit? Let's actually look at this. Using the first 4 comments on the first 39 threads (I was going for 40 but the same thread appeared on twice) we can see if /news/ jumps right into the common /pol/ tier arguments (blacks, mexicans, women, immigrants, muslim, degenerates, etc.).

Any articles that don't reach 4 comments we will say didn't generate enough interest to count.

11 out of 39 jump right into /pol/ tier arguements. So roughly 25% of /news/ jumps right into the /pol/ tier arguments. 75% of the news articles on blacks gathered at least 4 responses and started standard pol shit right away.

Is this good or bad for 4chan? I don't know. Is it "good" that every 4th article about a black person turns into /pol/? You assholes tell me.

The pattern I'm seeing here is serious topics getting serious discussions, and the non-serious topics getting non-serious discussions.
Which is exactly as it should be.
