I'm not saying they deserved it but
they certainly didn't try to hide it

>youngest person is 30
So what are the japanese kids doing or using that lets them get away with it? It can't be as simple as using a PeerGuardian-like service to torrent, can it?.
>>25195
It isn't terribly difficult to buy a server elsewhere to ssh into through tor or what have you.
>That moment when the japanese animation scene goes through full creative stop because of heavy taxation and strict punishment of piracy, disabling more obscure content from reaching outside of Japan
It's time to make room for something different. Fuck the government, there is more to art than intrinsic value.
>>25174
So they targeted the smallest of the small... Is this supposed to be a threat to pirates?

Tor is flat out illegal in Japan. You can be arrested for using it.
>>25212
Tor isn't illegal anywhere you can get internet. Where the fuck are you getting your info?

Reminds me of how American cops "fight" the drug problem
>>25216
Shut the fuck up, Amerifat. Don't leave the house, ever, never travel to another country, there might be laws that tax that 40+ bmi brain of yours, and we know how you hate to be taxed.

Just the tip-ping culture

Do they take any issue with VPNs?
Arresting a guy for uploading an english learning program for travelers? No wonder Japanese can't speak English. But buying a "date" from a HS girl is legal.

this

Are you that faggot from the isis thread on here too? Your incoherent rage and retarded memespouting is on par with him.

>uploaded 35th volume of Bleach color version manga
i mean surly the real crime is the fact he liked bleach but in all seriousness the japs are a joke for even wasting resources to please there American masters.
>>25216
This.
Japs really don't care about anything but piracy when it comes to net neutrality. Tor is actually pretty big over there, any Deep Web search engine for Japanese content could tell you that.
There is also a vibrant Japanese community of Freenet & Frost users, for obvious reasons.

He's getting it his arse, obviously
