MV Loch Seaforth - RoRo passenger ferry running twice daily between Ullapool and the Stornoway in the Scottish Western Isles.
Ma nigga for starting this thread. Unfortunately I cant find a pic of the actual RoRo function but hey ho. Replaced the older MV Isle of Lewis a couple of years ago.

Yes, they're hydraulic rim brakes. The bikes are alse used as blunt weapons, so I suppose discs were ruled out for UCI regulatory purposes. The second "caliper" on the rear wheel is a lock.

Yes, I am an American. It is retarded for a wide variety of reasons.
Number one is that a 30+lb bicycle makes a terrible weapon, ESPECIALLY for self defense or de-escalation.
Number two is that police can't even strike a perp with a 1lb baton without getting sued through the nose.
Number three is that if an officer somehow DID manage to strike a victim - and they could only EVER be a victim - with a huge, heavy fucking bicycle there is absolutely no way that would ever constitute minimum force, anymore than striking them with a medieval morningstar could.
