Is there any significant difference between the 2016 and 2013 Trek 820 models, besides the new colorings?

Don't know but I love that paint job
I don't know but it's a shitty as fuck bike, don't get one. Any bike under $700 or so new will be pure shit, and if it has suspension, it will be pure shit even at the $700 range (because good suspension is expensive). If you want a mountain bike with suspension and can't afford to pay a few thousand, buy used at pinkbike.com/buysell
If you want a new bike for under 1k, spend at least 700 and don't get suspension
If you want a mountain bike for only a few hundred dollars, get a rigid 90s mountain bike on Craigslist. Any other mountain bike at that price point is going to be absolute shit.

Is this the end of the line for v-brakes?
It comes with a built in vagina.. because the women who ride them probably have a bigger penis than you... Other than that, it has better quality gears and shorter crank arms

If you are not an old lady, you really don't need a suspension on a hybrid.
>bought Trek 820 in 1995
>7 speed
>2016 Trek 820

I'm a cyclist, bro. And that bike is shit.

>>Dura ace or GTFO XD
Except I don't even have Dura Ace on any of my bikes (I have SRAM Red on one of my bikes though). I love steel bikes with mid level spec. The bike OP is looking at is shit. In that price range, FUCKING BUY USED, it's so much better.

It might as well be because it's not built well enough for actual mountain biking.

I was under the impression that for Shimano, lower-level components of today were higher-lever components of yesterday.

Well I know op and the whole purpose is to get a bike that has good tires and goes over bumbs and stickers and shit. We dont have mountains just rough turrain.

1. OP wasn't soliciting opinions about the Trek 820.
2. Maybe OP doesn't have 700 to spend.
Think before you shitpost, retard.

Just get the 2013 model and invest in a better bike in the future. I ride the 2013 as my commuter and its still good. I don't see the big deal when 3/4's these cunts on the road can't keep up with me
